Ben Heine is an Ivory Coast based artist, was born on 12 June 1983 in Abidjan, Ivory Coast. He grew up in the Ivory Coast and lived there for almost 7 years old, with his parents and three sisters. He love to play drums, piano and guitar like other teens want to do so. His main hobby was writing poetry on a daily basis. His mother was a teacher of dance and his father was a commercial engineer.
Ben took a degree in journalism from Belgium and learned the history of art, sculpture and painting from Hasting College of Arts and Technology, England. These activities also learned some other languages as his love interacting with people and communicate with them. He learned English, French, Russian, Spanish, Dutch and Polish. In this article, in which we are showcasing some amazing and innovative art Ben, this is named after him as “Digital CIRCLISM“.
In this series, Ben generally makes portraits of celebrities with digital tools using only plane circles on a black background. Every ring has only one color and tone. Ben takes inspiration from several photographs and then creates a new photomontage or rough digital painting and finally begins the long process of placing circles on a black background using image editing software and digital sketches as references (it takes between 100-180 hours of work for one portrait). After seeing these amazing pictures, we can conclude that these pictures are a combination of different things, such as photos, mixes, drawing, imagination and reality somehow. Ben has announced this digital Circlism very first time in 2010 and is becoming more popular day after day!
Our collection of digital cirlism might like to have gathered these pictures just to inspire our lovely visitors. If you really like these pictures then please share on certain media accounts and send their views by sending comments. Thanks!
